WHAT ARE SOUTH POLL CATTLE?
Developed in the 1980s by Teddy Gentry, South Polls were bred to be slick-haired, small-framed cows with emphasis placed on high fertility, longevity, and calm disposition. South Polls are bred to excel on a grass based grazing system. This means South Poll cows produce excellent beef without conventional methods- no feed required! For well mannered animals and top notch beef, you need look no further!
ABOUT ROSEHILL FARM
We are a first generation farm in Elberton, Georgia. We believe in healthier food at an affordable price! We raise registered, grass-fed South Poll cattle. We raise our cattle with no added hormones or steroids. They are never fed grains or feed, they eat only native pasture forages and hay during the winter. They spend their time year-round, on grass pastures here in northeast Georgia. Our animals always have access to clean drinking water. At Rose Hill Farm, we utilize regenerative farming methods. We do not use chemicals on our pastures or animals. We move our herd of cattle through our pastures frequently to allow the pastures time to rest between grazing and ensure animals are not living in their own waste. Our products are all natural, non gmo, sustainable, free of additives, and delicious!
